Willow Edge is the newest Baker to join The Bakery® mastering team starting in early 2023. In just under a year, Willow has quickly become a rising star working alongside chief mastering engineer, Eric Boulanger, on projects for elite artists such as Joe Bonamassa, Lee Ritenour, and The Boxmasters, just to name a few. Prior to joining The Bakery®, Willow worked as an audio engineer in several other prestigious facilities including the USC Alumni Voiceover Recording Studio, Cookie Jar Recording, and USC Kaufman School of Dance.

Graduating summa cum laude with a B.F.A. in Sound Design and a minor in Music Recording from the University of Southern California, Willow’s academic journey has laid the foundation for an exciting career ahead of her. Willow has learned much from the invaluable insights of her distinguished mentors, including Sound Designer/Mix Engineer Phil Allen (Jesus Christ Superstar), Mix Engineer Brian Malouf (Michael Jacksion, Queen, Madonna), Recording Engineer Christian Amonson (John Williams and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra), and, of course, Bakery’s founder Eric Boulanger. Learning from the best in the business has not only shaped Willow’s technical acumen, but has also instilled a deep appreciation for the art of mastering.

From collaborating with emerging artists to contributing to award-winning albums, Willow’s portfolio emphasizes her position as a successful young engineer. Recently moving from Assistant to Mastering Engineer and Vinyl QC engineer, Willow brings a fresh perspective, keen ear, and a positive energy to the studio.
